As a guide: 100% cotton 305–320°F for 10–15 sec (medium-firm pressure); 50/50 & tri-blends 285–300°F for 10–12 sec (medium); 100% polyester & performance wear 265–285°F for 8–10 sec (medium); nylon & spandex 250–265°F for 8 sec (light-to-medium). A professional heat press is strongly recommended for consistent results. While some customers have success with a Cricut EasyPress, home irons typically don't deliver even enough heat and pressure across the full transfer, which can cause lifting or peeling over time.

DTF transfers adhere beautifully to cotton, polyester, cotton-poly blends, canvas, denim, and most other fabric types. Unlike screen printing or HTV, DTF doesn't require a smooth surface and works on both light and dark garments.

Our transfers are hot peel. As soon as you finish pressing, peel the film off immediately in one smooth motion — no need to wait for it to cool. For extra wash durability, cover with parchment and re-press for 2–3 seconds after peeling.
